Delete your account
You can delete your Ideas account at any time, from the app or from the web. It is immediate and permanent.
From the app
Android: Settings → Delete account. On the web: Portfolio → Delete account. Both ask you to type DELETE first, because it cannot be undone.
If you cannot sign in
Email ken.kawamoto2486@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. No other detail is needed.
What gets deleted
- Every idea, note and link you have captured
- Every project and post, including anything you had published
- Your profile, your portfolio and the username it lived at
- Every image and file you uploaded, published ones included
- Your sign-in itself
Nothing is kept in a recoverable form and there is no archive to ask for later. Your username is released and somebody else may claim it.
What takes longer, or cannot be undone
Encrypted backups roll forward on a schedule, so a copy of your data can persist in them for up to 30 days before ageing out. They are never read except to restore the whole service after a failure.
If a project of yours was published, its page may have been saved by a search engine or by an archive such as the Wayback Machine. Those copies belong to whoever made them and cannot be reached from here — deleting your account removes the page, not other people’s records of it.
